Christina Helm’s passion for living your best life is translated into her unique sense of style, spanning from the days she worked at a movie studio, to Wall Street and working with the iconic Phillip Stark. Christina, a Third generation Angeleno and part of the Helm’s Bakery Family has focused on creating a high aesthetic that is accessible for everyone from a new mom and her baby’s sophisticated nursery to an entertainers 10,000 sq. foot Moroccan den. Helm’s design career was fostered early on in her parents homes with a revolving door of talented people and Interior Designers. Including, 1960’s designer Ian Phillips. Christina, Has Been educated at Otis Parsons, Loyola MaryMount University and NYU, and was a docent for the Getty Villa while she obtained her degree in Classic Civilizations. Helm’s design signature was cultivated during the time that she lived in NYC, “The Forgotten Space,” which includes halls, guest baths and offices - Helm, quickly became know as the ID that will leave you with something that is striped “These transitional spaces are some of the most important in a home environment and where the least amount of time and resources are spent.” Says Helm. “I marry high end decorative elements and hues from the room that you are leaving into the room you are entering in a functional and cool way.” The result is arresting, a long boring hallway evolves into a glamorous addition to the overall interior concept.
Helm’s Client Roster is as diverse as it is private she is currently working on homes from London to Los Angeles.
Christina is also a Sustainable Building Advisor and has participated in the design of LEED Platinum and Silver homes.
Christina, Currently resides in Pacific Palisades with her daughter.
